The reality is not everybody enjoys orgasms or pleasure during intercourse.

SYMPTOMS:

  • Primary anorgasmia: in this condition, a patient has never experienced an orgasm in their whole life and there is less level of sexual excitement in women in this.
  • Secondary anorgasmia: is the inability to achieve orgasm of past intensity and cause can be due to alcohol, depression, pelvic surgery

TREATMENT:

  • EXPLORING YOUR OWN BODY: to know your own body, your pleasure spots that produce pleasure by self- stimulating by using the best medium possible to know from where your self-stimulation comes and then exploring the same thing with your partner.
  • INCREASING THE INTENSITY OF STIMULATION: Women need to increase the amount of time of stimulation of the clitoris or try to change sex positions to trigger the orgasm and can even use clitoris stimulators available in the market to increase the stimulation.
  • Counseling: Both partners involved in sexual activity can go for couple counseling to discuss the problem, cause and exactly what is the root cause of any tension or disagreements between them.
  • ALTERING THE MIND THROUGH SEX THERAPY: to convert any anxiety or negative/embarrassing thoughts while having sex into positive by introducing cognitive therapy like giving home masturbation exercises like clitoris stimulation, body touching exercises to learn and improve pleasure giving techniques to achieve orgasms.
